Quick Trip to Tenerife

It was a last minute decision really, i had a couple of boards i desperately needed to get on the water, there's no wind in the UK and had been none for 3 weeks or more! so where do you go??? There's not too many options and the only realistic one for me was to go see the boys at the OTC in tenerife... nice vid by the way chaps, could do with a bit more action! at least having seen it you know what you're getting on arrival.. maybe get greame or adam in some hot pants styling it :D
Seriously though, it's a piece of cake trip from the north west, i flew manchester to tenerife for 4 days, for 200 quid and bags were 18 quid for 32 kilos! awesome!
The most important thing for me was i could look at the forecast, know for sure it's going to be windy and book it literally the day before...
Could get into that going on a forecast business, saves hanging around without wind when you could be working, earning the money so when it does blow, Tenerife here we come!!
I'll be back this summer i'm sure, thanks everyone for there help there!

Dakhla Festival

Having got home from Cape Town i realised it was way too cold!! a week of working at home and getting up with ice on the windows was enough for me!!
I was invited to take part in the Dakhla festival, it's an event to promote the region, it happens to be pretty good for windsurfing too. We stayed in a camp at the beach and had a nice little point break in front of our tents!
Unfortunately air morrocco decided i didn't need my luggage until the last day which was a downer, luckily there were surf boards, Sup's and i even managed to borrow some windsurf gear, thanks to Guillaume for his generosity with the board and team mate Cedric for the use of the new Gaastra IQ, cracking sail actually...
It was a flying visit, 5 days, but, having not been there before i thought why not?
I got 2 sessions of windsurfing and a couple of SUP sessions too so it was all good fun! a nice little holiday ;)
